## A physical action, a digital consequence

With Tony Maligno, I co-created Smart Swords: a connected sword and companion fantasy game. The interaction linked a physical swing to progress in the game.

## Across hardware and software

I designed custom electronics and a PCB, developed the companion iOS experience, and worked with 3D printing and laser cutting. The work connected the object in someone's hand to what happened on screen.

## From prototype to a production run

The project was funded on Kickstarter, and Tony and I produced a run of 100 swords together. Smart Swords brought electronics, software, materials, and fabrication into the same product.
