About / Berkeley, California
Artist.
Engineer.
Worldbuilder.
I’m a product designer who prototypes in code, with a decade of designing and shipping creative tools, games, and AI experiences for web, mobile, and VR, including nearly four years with Will Wright’s team and a generative-AI project with Netflix.
At Viridian Reveries, my independent studio, I’ve built a local AI studio pipeline with ComfyUI, local language models, and GPUs. My projects include DreamLounge, which pairs Midjourney animation with music and story worlds, and Malt, a tool for co-writing fiction with AI a paragraph at a time.
With Will Wright’s team at Gallium Studios, I worked on a generative-AI game prototype with Netflix and on early Proxi prototypes. I co-created Kitty Nigiri with Jacob Dominicus; Sharon Chang was also part of the collaboration. With Tony Maligno, I co-created Smart Swords.
I develop games for Two Seater with Nash Weber and incorporate player feedback through TestFlight into revisions. User feedback also informed prototyping at Gallium. In VFX collaborations with Method Studios, Shepherd Studios, and Tippett Studio, directors’ dailies feedback guided successive iterations.
My AI animation archive records hundreds of experiments since 2022. I keep coming back to the choices that matter to an artist: how to explore, steer, revise, and make the work one’s own.
I’m a member of the Runway Creative Partners Program. Through Viridian Reveries, I can also build local creative pipelines around the way other artists and teams work.
What I want to make possible
I want to help steer the AI era toward a creative renaissance, through tools that give people more expressive control and make ambitious work possible.
A longer-term dream is a seated arcade cabinet for exploring generative worlds in real time. It connects physical controls, software, storytelling, and visual experience around a question that also drives my creative tools: how can someone intuitively steer what happens next?
I’m interested in hands-on product design and creative technology roles where I can build, test, and refine new ways to create.
I have a B.S. in Computer Engineering from San Francisco State University, plus college study in film and comics at Hampshire College and physics coursework at the University of Chicago.
